Bicycle Manufacturer – Transactional Analysis

A bicycle manufacturer wants to leverage existing transactional databases of customers, revenue, and bike sales by orderline enabled through Data Science & Technical Writing. The goals are to:

  1. Understand the business cycle for sales volume
  2. Discover any opportunities for new products
  3. Identify customer segments to allow marketing the opportunity to target specific segment(s) with email campaigns

The analysis began by connecting three independent data sources of customers, revenue, and order line transactions. We assembled the appropriate data tables into specific categories and selected key attributes to address each of the goals outlined above.
